Six weeks in Dallas have now gone by during my internship with EarthPeople.
I have been working on my Master’s thesis on the marketing of sustainable products from the perspective of the American marketer. When I explain my course of study to people, the first question I get is, “What the heck is sustainability marketing?” Having read many articles on green marketing - and since completing the theoretical section of my thesis - I am now in a better position to explain.
Here is a basic definition of sustainability or “green” marketing: the marketing of products and services that are in continuous development toward an even more sustainable result and already today are greener, i.e., more environmentally friendly, than their conventional counterparts.
